Mentorship in the 21st century can be defined as a process of impartation from an individual with multi purpose ability to subordinates with the goal to transfer virtues which will help shape their character, attitudes, values and operational dynamics through the process of learning, training, straining, coaching and exposure to become mentors in the future. Therefore,commitment is very vital to initiate this excercise since the above can't be achieved or realised in a single day.
As such, the mentor has to be commited to his or her daily growth to be patient enough with the mentee to assist in his or her growth and development and the mentee likewise has to be humble enough to be commited to learn, to disciplne etc to become.

Commitment to me;
is total dedication to a cause or something worthwhile.
Commitment is also seen as being captivated or consumed with something.
Commitment between mentoring partners can be developed through trust for one another. This will give birth to service, sacrifice and total dedication
